Gift Registries:

For guests looking for gift ideas, we have registered at  Pier1 and at  The Bay.

You can check out the websites above, or drop into one of the stores and view the registry there.

Other Ideas:

We have scanned some pictures of our house for those of you who haven't been to visit.  They will give you an idea of the decor if you are looking to match things to the house.

The Dining Room:

As you can see, we call this the dining room, but there is no furniture in it at this point.  Soon the walls will be painted a cream colour (once we can find one that we like) rather than the purple-gray that it is now.

The Living Room:

The living room has dark wood walls and cool mantle with a gas fireplace.  The couch is actually a dark navy blue, the flash makes it look lighter than it is.

The Kitchen:

The kitchen used to be gray, now it is bright blue with white trim.  We have a kitchen table that we are in the middle of re-finishing.  In the mean time, we eat our meals at the patio table out on the deck.

The Deck (Steve's Room):

Because the lot slopes away to the back, we have a walkout basement and a second floor deck off the kitchen.  It's like having a tree house; there are a lot of birds and squirrels.  You can even see the St. Lawrence river through the trees.

In case you are worried about coming to visit, we do have a bathroom as well.  We registered for towels at the Bay that will match the bathroom.  We also have a bedroom, but haven't settled on colours yet.
